Guangdong CC&TSPM held a pastoral ordination ceremony in Zhongshan City.
Church council members and approximately 600 believers attended the ceremony organized by Guangdong CC&TSPM at Longdu Church in Zhongshan City on October 12, reported the municipal CC&TSPM.
Based on Acts 20:28, President Guo Yun of Guangdong Christian Council (CC) shared a sermon titled "Be Watchful for Yourselves and for the Flock." He encouraged the newly ordained pastors to teach and nurture believers based on biblical truth and to become role models in all aspects. He also emphasized self-discipline and humility in serving the Lord.
President Chen Wenyuan of Zhongshan CC introduced the three newly ordained pastors' backgrounds, and the laying-on of hands was officiated by Chairman Fan Hong'en of Guangdong TSPM, with stoles and bibles presented to the newly ordained. Executive Vice President Lei Yuming of Guangdong CC encouraged these new pastors to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, serve God wholeheartedly, and spread the love of the Lord through their lives.
