Guangdong Provincial CC&TSPM held an ordination ceremony in Dongguan City, strengthening the pastoral team of the city's Christian community.
On September 14, the provincial CC&TSPM ordained three pastoral staff as pastors at the Taiping Evangelical Church in Dongguan, with about 280 attendees, including local clergy, church committee members, and congregants, according to the event organizers.
Rev. Yang Yongchun, deputy director of Guangdong CC&TSPM, delivered a sermon on “As a Servant, a Prisoner, and an Apostle,” encouraging the to-be ordained to be faithful servants of the Lord like the apostle Paul, serving Christ and the church.
Rev. Lu Hanqu, the chairperson of the provincial TSPM and vice chairperson of the municipal TSPM, encouraged the new pastors to serve with love, patience, faithfulness, and creativity.
