The American evangelistic television program "Hour of Power" visited Beijing Municipal CC&TSPM.
On October 13, a delegation of 11 members, led by Pastor Bobby Schuller, president of "Hour of Power" and the weekly televised service of Shepherd's Grove Presbyterian Church, visited Haidian Church in Beijing and Yanjing Theological Seminary, with the company of Mr. Samuel Yung, chairman of the Hour of Power HK, reported the host.
At Haidian Church, Rev. Wu Weiqing, president of Yanjing Theological Seminary and senior pastor of Haidian Church, briefed the guests on the church's history, pastoral care, volunteer training, and social services. Rev. Shuller led the delegation to attend the church's third Sunday service, greeting the congregation and expressing his best wishes for China and the church in the country during the service.
At Yanjing Theological Seminary, the visiting delegation toured the seminary library and chapel. During the visit, Pastor Schuller provided insights into the history and current status of his television program "Hour of Power," discussing topics such as church service, group pastoral care, and preaching.
