An old friend from Norway, the Norwegian Missionary Society, visited Shaanxi CC&TSPM.

On October 17, Rev. Johan T. Johansen and his daughter Rev. Nora Margaret Gimse, friends from the Norwegian Missionary Society, paid a visit to the Shaanxi CC&TSPM, said the host.

During the exchange, Rev. Wang Jun, chairperson and president of the Shanxi CC&TSPM, conveyed his gratitude to Rev. Johansen and his daughter for their efforts in promoting China's policies on the protection of religious freedom and the Christian ministry in Shaanxi, which enhanced mutual understanding and dispelled misconceptions. Rev. Wang then provided an overview of the churches in the province over recent years, detailing the key initiatives undertaken by the provincial CC&TSPM during the pandemic and in recent periods, including the latest developments in the construction of the new campus for the Shaanxi Bible School. The guests expressed their appreciation for the diverse ministries conducted by the association and acknowledged the progress of churches in Shaanxi. Both parties look forward to further strengthening exchanges, fostering friendships, and benefiting more people.

On the afternoon of October 16, the delegation visited Shaanxi Bible School and Ankang Church before the meeting. They exchanged with the faculty and students at Shaanxi Bible School.

From October 11 to 15, Rev. Cui Wanjun, chairperson and president of the Ankang Municipal CC&TSPM, and his colleagues welcomed the delegation at Hanbin District Gospel Church. They provided an overview of the municipal CC&TSPM and the Ankang Church.  The visiting group also proceeded on their trip to the Ankang Museum, Shuanghekou Ancient Town Scenic Area, and Baihe Qiaoergou Scenic Area.
