Guangdong CC&TSPM ordained Dong Jiakai as a pastor at Chengzhen Church in Xingning, Meizhou on October 18, which is to relieve the ministry pressure on rural mountain churches.
The ceremony began with a hymn, followed by a sermon from Rev. Lin Enling, general secretary of Guangdong CC&TSPM. In his sermon titled "A Pastor After God's Own Heart," Rev. Lin encouraged the newly ordained to lead the congregation with dedication, live by example, and serve as a role model for the Christian community.
