Shenzhen Church held a gathering centered on the Chinese New Hymnal on October 26, bringing together believers to offer praise to God.
According to the organizer, the event was hosted by the church's Sacred Music Department and featured performances by its orchestra, the Ark Choir, and a joint choir from the Shenzhen Christian Council.
Compiled and published by the Chinese Christian Hymns Committee after over two years of efforts, the Chinese New Hymnal was officially released in March 1983. It was published by the China Christian Council and produced by Nanjing Amity Printing Company. Currently, this hymn book is used in the majority of services across registered churches in China.
