In November, Hanzhong Christian Church in Shaanxi Province organized activities to assist needy residents, commemorating Thanksgiving month.
According to the Shaanxi Provincial CC&TSPM, Hanzhong Christian Church hosted several charitable initiatives in November. On November 10, church co-workers offered haircuts, beauty treatments, skincare services, and more during a charity clinic. On November 17, as part of the charity station’s activities, the church distributed over 200 pieces of clothing to those in need. On November 18, the church delivered more than 300 cotton coats and trousers to a local mental hospital.
The Rev. Qi Hongjun, director of Hanzhong Church, emphasized that in the process of the sinicization of Christianity, Hanzhong Church should actively participate in and bear witness to the city’s economic and social development while also encouraging believers to assist those with special needs and foster mutual support.
