The China Christian Council and the National Committee of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CCC&TSPM) have outlined four key priorities for the year: advancing the sinicization of Christianity, strengthening religious governance, fostering talent development, and expanding foreign exchanges.

Rev. Wu Wei, president of CCC, announced these priorities during a meeting of directors and deputy directors from the organization’s commissions, held in Shanghai on February 18. He urged committee leaders to tailor their work plans to the realities of churches in China, emphasizing the importance of in-depth research and field visits. If implemented effectively, he said, the initiatives could yield significant progress by year’s end.

Rev. Wu emphasized to the special committees that the work plan should be grounded in the realities of churches in China, with a particular focus on thorough research and field visits. He expressed confidence that significant results would be achieved by the end of the year if the plan were implemented effectively.

Rev. Xu Xiaohong, chairperson of the national TSPM, presided over the meeting, where each special committee presented its 2025 work plan. Attendees engaged in discussions on the proposed initiatives, while CCC&TSPM departments provided guidance on specific procedures and regulations.

The meeting brought together leaders from all 10 commissions under CCC&TSPM.
