On March 8, Beijing Chongwenmen Church's workplace fellowship hosted the "Her Voice" event to mark International Women's Day, with over 120 believers participating.

During the event, the leader of the "Her Voice" program's recording team took the stage to share the inspiration behind its creation. After watching the program, guests engaged with the audience, sharing their reflections on the film and answering questions.

In closing, Rev. Liu Cuimin, the senior pastor, comforted the Christian women present by reminding them that, as in Genesis, God heard Hagar's suffering and provided guidance and companionship.

Beijing Chongwenmen Church introduces on its official website that it was the first church built in 1870 by the American Methodist Episcopal Church in Beijing and across northern China. It was named Asbury Church in honor of Bishop Asbury. Initially modest in size, the church was rebuilt in 1880 to accommodate a growing congregation, with the new building completed in 1882. In 1902, the Qing government funded another reconstruction, which was completed in the spring of 1904. This historic building has stood for over a century.
