The 2025 "Christian Charity Day," themed "Rooted in Love, Bearing the Fruit of Mercy," was observed nationwide on October 18–19, the third Saturday and Sunday of October each year. Churches across China preached on the same theme during Sunday worship and dedicated their offerings to local charitable initiatives, demonstrating Christ's love through tangible acts of compassion.

In Beijing, many churches actively participated. On October 17, Nankou Church visited believers in the western mountainous regions, providing care and cold-weather supplies.

On October 19, Huairou Church organized a volunteer cleanup in the Xinxin Township community. Zhushikou Church delivered a sermon titled "Go and Do Likewise," followed by a visit to sanitation workers to present daily necessities; pastoral staff had also joined street-cleaning efforts on the afternoon of October 16. That same morning, Tongzhou Church centered its message on Colossians 1:10, encouraging believers to live out their faith through acts of love. Chongwenmen Church held multiple charitable programs, including health and legal consultations, a charity sale, and nursing home visits.

In East China, on October 17, the Meng'en Church in Zixi County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, visited a local nursing home, making 2,600 dumplings for the elderly to celebrate the upcoming Double Ninth Festival. On October 19, a church in Linqing City, Shandong Province, visited a nursing home and provided care packages.

From October 18 to 19, churches in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, conducted themed worship services, directing offerings toward poverty alleviation. Churches in Zhangjiagang City combined scriptural teaching with the traditional Chinese concept of benevolence to explore the meaning of faith, love, and charity.

In Central China, Chengbei Church in Changsha City, Hunan Province, visited a vocational training center for people with disabilities, delivering supplies and encouragement.

In South China, from October 18 to 19, churches in Longchuan County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, visited elderly individuals living alone and families with disabilities, distributing essential goods and providing home services. During the same weekend, churches in Zhongshan City held concurrent activities, visiting elderly and ill believers while emphasizing the theme of mercy and love in their worship.

On September 27, Buji Church in Shenzhen paid an early visit to local firefighters to express gratitude for their service.

Through the united participation of churches nationwide, the 2025 "Christian Charity Day" highlighted the Chinese church's commitment to caring for society and bearing witness to faith through service.
