On November 8, Zhejiang Provincial CC&TSPM held an ordination service at Yongguang Church in Lucheng District, Wenzhou, where two pastors and three elders were ordained. More than 200 believers and clergy from across the city attended.
According to CCC&TSPM, Rev. Lou Shibao, vice president of the Zhejiang CC, delivered a sermon titled "Paul's Prayer." Under the leadership of Rev. Zhang Yaofa, president of the provincial CC, the ordination team performed the laying on of hands for the five candidates, vested them with stoles, presented them with Bibles, and issued their clergy certificates. Church representatives and family members also offered bouquets.
Rev. Zhang urged the newly ordained ministers to view their ordination as a fresh beginning and to "step into their work promptly." The service concluded with the congregation singing "Work, for the Night Is Coming."
