In Fujian Province, a church in Zhangzhou City held a groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the temple on Tuesday.

Pastor Zhuang Jingcheng, president and chairman of Zhangzhou CC&TSPM (Christian Council&Three-Self Patriotic Movement), shared a sermon entitled Let's Rise up and Build. He encouraged the staff workers and believers of Lintou Church in Sidu Town, Zhao'an County, to build the Lord's temple with one heart and mind. He also urged them to believe the Lord's promise: "The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house, and in this place, I will grant peace." (Haggai 2:9)

Elder Chen Youxiong, chairman of the Zhao'an County TSPM, presided over the groundbreaking service that was conducted simply according to the requirement of coronavirus pandemic prevention and control.

The staff of the Zhangzhou Municipal CC&TSPM visited the Sidu Church in Zhao'an County and the Pantuo Church in Zhangpu County on the afternoon of the same day. They inspected the religious sites which have carried out the "four entries" campaign(the national flag of China, the Constitution, laws and regulations, core socialist values, and fine traditional Chinese culture shall enter religious venues). Visiting some staff workers, they prepared for church reopening.
