Four churches in Shanghai, Fujian, Sichuan, and Hunan announced their Christmas schedules on their official WeChat accounts.

On December 16, Shanghai Moore Memorial Church announced the holding of four Christmas services taking place on Sunday, December 19, each with choir performances, dancing, and a Nativity play. Churchgoers were told to book their place in order to attend the services. It added that the music worship services will be canceled on evenings of December 24 and 25 to avoid the spread of coronavirus pandemic, as many believers and tourists may flock to the church located in the downtown area at the weekend to celebrate Christmas.

Dongbanhou Church in Zhangzhou, Fujian, on the same day stated that it would host a Christmas Sunday service and a celebration on December 19, praise meetings and sacred music worship at Christmas.

The next day, Gracious Church in Chengdu, Sichuan, issued a notice, saying it would conduct two worship services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Beizhengjie Church in Changsha, Hunan, announced that besides three Christmas worship services with a baptism on the Fourth Sunday of advent, it would conduct music services and thanksgiving worship services from December 24 to 26.
