In China’s southeastern coastal Guangdong Province in late August, Shahe Church in Guangzhou marked the 33rd anniversary of its reopening, and Xinchang Church in Kaiping the 20th of reconstruction.

Celebrating the 33rd anniversary of its reopening and 25th anniversary of relocation on August 28, Shahe Church invited Rev. Guo Yun, chairman of the Guangzhou CC&TSPM and senior pastor of Tianhe Church, to give a sermon titled "Another Ambition". He encouraged Christians to strengthen their faith, follow the footsteps of the Lord exclusively, and receive the abundant grace of the Lord, said Guangzhou CC&TSPM.

During the Sunday service in the afternoon, the choirs of Tianhe Church and Zengcheng Church were invited to worship God in unity with exchange activities.

During the retreat in Xinchang Church on August 30, Rev. Lei Yuming, executive vice-president of Guangdong TSPM, preached a sermon titled "Of the Same Mind", exhorting believers to humble themselves with the heart of Jesus to prosper the gospel and build the church, following the hymns and dance from the women’s choir, morning choir, and afternoon choir of the church, the Guangdong CC&TSPM reported.

The next day, believers from churches in Kaiping City attended the service to mark the 20th anniversary of the dedication of the new Xinchang Church, listening to the hymns from the choirs of Xinchang Church, Chikan Church, Magang Church, and Shuikou Church. In his sermon with the title "Walking Forward by Faith", Rev. Lei urged church members to believe God's promise, trust in His presence, and enter the promised land in obedience to His commands.
