Recently Christians in mainland China recommend the Chinese version of book Twenty-Six Years of Missionary Work in China that has been published after nine years of translation.
It took "Wenzhou Enji Translation Fellowship", consisting of local Christians, nine years to translate the original English book into Chinese. Taiwan publisher, Cosmic Light, published it in 2015, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the China Inland Mission.
The book written by Grace Ciggie Stott, the wife of George Stott, tells the couple's missionary work in China from 1866 to 1891 when they founded girls' and boys' schools in Wenzhou and preaches the gospel.
The translator team says they interviewed about 80 people and testified some place names to ensure the precision of the translation.
