The Journal of Research for Christianity in China (JRCC) is recruiting doctoral students in Christian studies from mainland China for its two-week United States study program this summer.

The theology study program will take place in Los Angeles, USA, from July 28 to August 10, in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Christianity and China and the Fuller Theology Seminary's Chinese Studies Center, according to the JRCC.

The two-week summer program aims to enhance students' grasp of Christian research knowledge and refine their research skills, which will be accomplished through morning lectures, afternoon seminar discussions, group presentations, and weekend field trips and exchanges. The lecture topics will include “Christianity and North American History, Society, Politics, and Education," “Is Western Civilization Centered on Christianity in Decline?” “Universal Values and Eastern Society,” “The Past, Present, and Future of the Chinese Church in North America: Where is the Way Out?” “How to 'Sinicize' Christianity?” and other related subjects.

The program will cover accommodation, tuition, and materials fees, with students facing financial constraints eligible for a US$500 subsidy. Applicants should be responsible for obtaining their United States visa and round-trip travel expenses.

The application deadline for this summer program is June 15th.
