Regulations on Religious Personnel Issued, to Take Effect in May

The State Administration released regulations on religious personnel, named "Measures of the Administration of Religious Personnel" on February 9. 

It will take effect from May 1, 2021, including seven chapters and 52 articles, according to CCC&TSPM.

The rules define religious personnel's rights and duties, regulate their behaviors, and clarify their relief channels. 

Reports of religious personnel and the prominent clergy of religious venues shall be regulated to strengthen their certificates' management. 

The guideline specifies the duties of educating, training, and supervising personnel by religious groups, schools, and places of worship. The information management of religious personnel shall also be consolidated.
