A national conference on religions concluded on Saturday, Beijing. Chinese President Xi Jinping calls on authorities for improve religious work, stressed the separation of politics and religions, and promises to fully implement the Party's policy of religious freedom.
The said conference was held in Beijing from April 22 to 23. In Xi Jinping said, in his address, that religious affairs carry "special importance" in the work of the CPC and the central government, and that the CPC's religious policies and theories had been proven right through past practices, reported by Xinhuanet.

Xi stress that Authorities should work to unite religious and non-religious people, and guide those religious to love their country, protect the unification of their motherland and serve the overall interests of the Chinese nation.
As to the Religious groups, xi said they “must adhere to the leadership of the CPC, and support the socialist system and socialism with Chinese characteristics.”
Religious groups should “merge religious doctrines with Chinese culture, abide by Chinese laws and regulations, and devote themselves to China's reform and opening up drive and socialist modernization in order to contribute to the realization of the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation.” quotes of Xi.
