The Wutongshu Youth Growth Service Center of the Taicang Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, conducted a psychological charity workshop on winter vacation.
From January 29 to February 1, Teacher Cui Tingting, an instructor of positive discipline, was invited to lecture on supportive psychotherapy, with dozens of students’ parents and young church staff attending, reported Suzhou Municipal CC&TSPM.
The lecture featured four aspects: first, understanding the feelings and beliefs that drive the behaviors to find a sense of belonging and value. Teacher Cui encouraged the participants to optimize personal reasoning, while stopping complaining and being expanded in trauma could be a good option. The last point extended to receiving support and even developing advantages. Cui stressed the importance of viewing problems from a positive perspective, as this helps to turn life's challenges into advantages.
