Rev. Wu Wei, president of CCC, received Mr. Levi Park, international director of the Luis Palau Association.
On May 15, the two parties exchanged views and insights on their current major ministries, the talent training in the church, and the development of youth ministry, according to CCC&TSPM. This is the first visit paid by a North American Evangelical church after the outbreak of the pandemic.
During the meeting, Rev. Wu highlighted challenges that Chinese churches have encountered in promoting some ministries in recent years and introduced the concept, content, and goals of the sinicization of Christianity from a historical perspective.
Mr. Levi Park said that the Luis Palau Association has expanded some gospel ministries in recent years, and hopes to strengthen the cooperation with the Chinese church while continuing to respect the principle of independence and self-management of the church in China.
Dr. Wang Xiuyu, associate professor and interpreter of the Luis Palau Association, came along with Mr. Levi Park.
It was reported that the guests would then visit theological seminaries and churches in Beijing, Nanjing, and Huai’an in Jiangsu.
