In five cities across Jilin Province, 34 pastors were ordained, including 17 female ones.

From May 13 to 17, these pastoral workers were ordained by the pastorate from Jilin CC&TSPM, said CCC&TSPM.

Rev. Hu Yuming, vice chairman and secretary general of Jilin TSPM and vice president of Jilin Christian Council, guided the newly-ordained pastors to understand the significance of ordination in his sermon titled "Following Jesus to be a Shepherd," citing Luke 8:1-3. He encouraged them to be committed to evangelism and remain faithful to their mission, not limited by traditional customs, scholarly knowledge, or life's necessities.
