Shangdong Provincial CC&TSPM held an ordination ceremony for 16 clergymen, including 10 women.
On March 24, Shandong CC&TSPM conducted an ordination for 16 religious clerical personnel at the Enquan Church in Weicheng District, Weifang City, with the participation of 500 pastoral staff and believers across the city, reported CCC&TSPM.
Rev. Dong Meiqin, the director of the provincial TSPM, delivered a sermon themed “Learning to be Good Shepherds,” citing 1 Peter 5:1–4. She urged those who were about to receive ordination to faithfully carry out the duties placed in their hands by the Lord, acting as good examples and shepherds for the congregations.
Rev. Wang Mengkun, vice president of the provincial CC&TSPM, presided over the ordination ceremony, where six church staff, including five women, became ordained as pastors, while 10 individuals, including five women, became ordained as elders.
Rev. Gao Ming, president of the provincial CC, gave an exhortation to the newly ordained.
