On June 16, churches in Sichuan and Shandong conducted clergy ordination services.
The Sichuan CC&TSPM Cleric Committee held the first two ordination ceremonies in 2024, respectively, at Shangxiang Church in Chengdu and Gospel Church in Dongpo District of Meishan City, with five pastors and one elder ordained, said CCC&TSPM.
Eight staff members were ordained as pastors or elders in Bo'ai Church in Cao County, receiving bibles, clerical stoles, and flowers, reported Cao County TSPM. During this ordination ceremony, Rev. Dong Meiqin warned those to-be ordained to correctly handle the word of truth, be examples to the people and become a witness of Christ.
