A total of 46 young believers from churches in Guizhou Province enrolled in the entrance examination at Guizhou Bible School.
The examination on June 13-14 was divided into two parts: a written test and an interview, said CCC&TSPM. The written test included basic knowledge of Christianity, Chinese, politics, history, and English to examine candidates’ faith, culture, and other comprehensive qualities. The interview reviewed their patriotic consciousness, faith, and the purpose of their studies in order to assess their conversion experiences, personality characteristics, cultural literacy, and physical and mental health.
Currently, the school hosts students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, including Han, Miao, Yi, Buyi, Bai, and Dong. Over the course of 27 cohorts, it has produced almost 700 theology graduates and provided training for over 10,000 pastoral care volunteers. The school offers a three-year theological secondary school program, a one-year pastoral training class, and several short-term training courses. The comprehensive curriculum encompasses 43 courses across three categories: professional courses, general courses, and distinctive courses, which encompass subjects such as Guizhou's local conditions and ethnic culture.
