On Chinese Valentine’s Day, a church and a gathering point in Beijing jointly organized an event renewing marriage vows, guiding Christians to follow the principle of "one man and one woman, for a lifetime."

On August 10, Gospel Church in Daxing District and a gathering point at the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area jointly held this event, inviting 75 Christian couples to participate.

Rev. Zhu Jian delivered a sermon titled "Remembering the Sacred Covenant," saying that the marriage vow emphasizes mutual commitment and trust. After the sermon, the Christian couples took turns signing the covenant at the covenant table.

Combining the Biblical view of marriage with Chinese culture, this event provided a new perspective for promoting Christianity in the Chinese context in a deep and detailed way, said Beijing CC&TSPM.
