New Leadership Elected for Beijing Seminary

On February 24, Yanjing Theological Seminary hosted the fourth meeting of its eighth board of directors to elect and appoint a new leadership team.

The meeting elected Rev. Liu Cuimin, president of the Beijing Christian Council (CC), as chairperson of the seminary's board of directors; Rev. Li Hua, vice president and general secretary of Beijing CC, as a director and secretary general of the board; Rev. Chen Yuexin, vice president of Beijing CC and vice president of the seminary, as a director; and Rev. Du Fengying, supervisor of Beijing CC, as a supervisor of the board. Rev. Li Yonghong no longer serves as vice chairperson and director of the board, while Wang Huan has stepped down as secretary general and director.

Following discussions, the meeting appointed Rev. Chen Yuexin as the executive vice president of the seminary and Rev. Luo Chengzan as vice president. Zhao Yantao will no longer serve as vice president. 

Rev. Wu Weiqing, chairperson of Beijing TSPM, will continue to serve as president of Yanjing Theological Seminary.
