A certification ceremony for 623 Christian preachers in Yancheng, Jiangsu, took place on March 25.
According to Yancheng Municipal CC&TSPM, the event gathered 70 participants at Yancheng Church, including the chairperson and preacher representatives of the TSPMs from various counties, cities, and districts within Yancheng.
At the event, Rev. Xu Fei, vice-chairperson of the municipal TSPM and chairperson of Xiangshui County's TSPM, guided the study of the "Church Order of Protestant Churches in China." Meanwhile, Rev. Wang Hongxiang, deputy secretary-general of the municipal TSPM, instructed on the "Administrative Measures for Christian Preachers in China."
During the certificate presentation session, officials from the municipal Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau and Rev. Chen Dehong, chairperson of the municipal TSPM, presented certificates to 623 preachers who had successfully passed the assessment and registration process.
Subsequently, representatives of preachers shared their growth on their faith journey and their understanding of the preaching ministry. They expressed their commitment to improving their overall qualities and pastoral abilities, aiming to provide better religious services to the congregations.
Rev. Chen Dehong, chairperson of the municipal TSPM, shared his expectations for the newly certified preachers. He emphasized the importance of abiding by the law, remaining loyal to their mission, actively serving society, and pursuing continuous spiritual growth.
