Fujian Church Lays Foundation Stone With Funding Gap of 17 Million Yuan

A Fujian church hosted a groundbreaking ceremony, fundraising money for the following construction project. 

On February 17, the foundation stone was laid for Chengnan Church in Shaowu, Fujian Province, which received a building permit from the government. 

The church covers a construction area of 9437.87 square meters (2.33 acres) (including main building, auxiliary rooms, and underground garage), and a floor area of 1.4 acres. With a total cost of nearly 25 million yuan for the construction of the sanctuary and the auxiliary buildings, the church has raised more than eight million yuan (including two-year pledging). Located in mountainous area in northern Fujian where is underdeveloped, the church has an arduous task of raising funds, asking for prayer and contributions.
