Yun’nan CC&TSPM hosted a debriefing meeting on the musical achievements of the sinicization of Christianity and a worship service for the 120th anniversary of the affiliated Trinity International Church.
From November 9–12, the provincial CC&TSPM conducted the expanded meeting for the Fourth Session of the Fourth Standing Committee in Kunming City. The resolution to appoint Rev. Deng Jianwei as the concurrent president of Yunnan Theological Seminary was passed by the meeting
During the meeting, 221 pieces of original Christian songs by 39 church staff or believers were compiled into a book, promoting the practice of localizing Christian music in Yun’nan.
Then, there was a debriefing meeting on the sinicization of Christianity, focusing on the musical achievements, and a service for the 120th birthday of the Yunnan Trinity International Church, with a sermon titled “Glory and Praise to the Lord” from Rev. Deng based on Psalms 150.
