On the last Sunday of June, a church choir in Suzhou, Jiangsu performed in the Zhangjiagang dialect for the first time.

To promote the traditional Chinese culture, Tangqiao Church in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, formed a special choir that sings in the local Zhangjiagang dialect, said Suzhou CC&TSPM.

On June 30, this choir made its debut, singing in the local dialect to refresh believers.

During its religious activities, the church explores elements within the doctrines and church regulations that contribute to social harmony, progress, the health of people, and ecological civilization. Besides the excellent traditional Chinese culture, they reinterpret the doctrines and regulations to align with the requirements of the social development of contemporary China. This initiative continually promotes the sinicization of Christianity in Zhangjiagang.
