Recently, several churches in Guangzhou, including Dongshan Church, Zion Church, and Shifu Church, commemorated their reopening after decades with a series of events.
According to Guangzhou CC&TSPM, on September 22, Dongshan Church held a gratitude service marking the 45th anniversary of its reopening and the 115th anniversary of its establishment. Over seven Sunday sermons, attendees expressed their appreciation and blessing for the event.
On the same day, Shifu Church celebrated its 41st reopening anniversary with a service of gratitude. The congregation participated in special sermons and a Bible hand-copying activity, expressing their thanks to the Lord for His continuous care and guidance over the past 41 years.
From September 21 to 22, Zion Church hosted a series of activities to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the resumption of service, featuring a concert with a choir of over 100 members and a themed Sunday worship.
