The provincial CC&TSPMs of Zhejiang and Guizhou hosted committee sessions last week, focusing on key regulations, recaps for 2024, and future initiatives.
From February 26 to 27, the third session of the current Zhejiang Provincial CC&TSPM committee convened in Hangzhou, bringing together 107 participants, including committee members and representatives from the Board of Supervisors across the province, said the hosting organization.
During the meeting, Rev. Chen Xiaolang, vice chairperson of the provincial TSPM, and Sun Zhangdao, chairperson of the provincial Board of Supervisors, each delivered their respective 2024 work reports. The session also reviewed and approved six regulations, including the "Church Order of Protestant Churches in Zhejiang Province," "Regulations on the Ordination of Christian Clergy in Zhejiang Province," "Three Systems of Zhejiang CC&TSPM on Strengthening Grassroots Church Work (Trial)," "Code of Self-Discipline for the Religious Communities in Zhejiang Province," "Guiding Opinions on the Workflow of Board of Supervisors for Christian Activity Venues in Zhejiang Province (Trial)," and "Guiding Opinions on the Workflow of Board of Supervisors for Christian Organizations in Zhejiang Province (Trial)."
During the meeting, members of the provincial CC&TSPM conducted work assessments, and all committee members participated in a democratic evaluation of the leadership team.
As reported by the hosting organization, on February 25, the second joint (expanded) meeting of the current directors and presidents of the Guizhou Provincial CC&TSPM was held at Guizhou Bible School.
The meeting reviewed the "Administrative Measures for the Establishment of Churches Affiliated to the Provincial CC&TSPM (Trial)," the "Adjustment Plan for the Leadership Team of Guizhou Bible School," and the "Resolution on the Adjustment of Members of the Current Committee of the Provincial CC&TSPM." It also heard presentations and engaged in discussions on the "List and Breakdown of Key Work Initiatives of the Provincial CC&TSPM for 2025" and other matters.
