On March 10, Jesus Church in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, held its 2024 annual work summary and a meeting on the comprehensive and strict governance of religion.

The meeting consisted of six main agendas. During the learning and education session, participants reviewed documents such as the "Administrative Measures for Religious Activity Venues," the "Code of Conduct for Christian Clergy in Jiangxi," and the "Regulations on Annual Inspection of Christian Clergy in Jiangxi," according to the church.

In the work summary session, Rev. Yi Zaizhong, the church's senior pastor, reviewed the previous year's work in church affairs, cultural development, and talent training. He also reported issues identified through daily supervision. Church committee members presented their annual reports and conducted self-examinations. The discussion revealed challenges, including insufficient understanding of religious policies and the need to improve the personnel training system.

To address these issues, Rev. Yi emphasized the importance of training in ideological and political education, theological knowledge, and service skills. He also called for establishing an assessment and evaluation system to promote the standardization and institutionalization of all church activities.

In conclusion, Director Xu Fang of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Section of the District Party Committee's United Front Work Department stressed the need for strict adherence to regulations, including the prohibition of minors from entering religious venues and the strict ban on illegal publications.
