On June 4, the first working meeting of the Social Service Ministry Committee of the Shandong CC&TSPM this year was convened in Jinan.
According to Jinan CC&TSPM, Rev. Ma Xiaowen, deputy director, vice president, and secretary general of the municipal CC&TSPM, as well as the committee's liaison officer, provided an interpretation of the "Key Work Priorities of Shandong CC&TSPM in 2025."
During the seminar, participants exchanged views on the annual work plan, reviewed distinctive practices of social service ministries in different regions, and explored innovative approaches to social service in the new era. The meeting also outlined arrangements for collaborating with the CCC&TSPM to conduct research on elderly care services and enhance the social service system within the Shandong Christian community.
Rev. Dong Meiqin acknowledged the committee's accomplishments in earthquake relief, poverty alleviation, elderly care services, and the sharing of experiences. She urged the committee to continue responding to social needs, strengthen the development of professional talent, standardize service procedures, and promote the integration of cross-sector resources.
