Gaoling District CC&TSPM in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, conducted its first pastoral volunteers training program from May 26 to 30, attended by more than 90 people.
At the opening ceremony, Pastor Xie Hongping urged the participants to equip themselves and preach the truth. After it, a training class on religious policies and regulations was given to 11 new certified preachers.
The training program consisted of two courses on "imitating Christ" and "reading and interpreting the Bible." Morning devotionals were also conducted by the local leadership.
At the commencement, the attendees were exhorted to be the workers of the times to promote the growth of Christianity in Gaoling District and pass the baton to the next generation.
