Guangdong CC&TSPM conducted a fire safety training course, “to enhance fire safety awareness for pastoral staff and believers in the province.”

On November 7 in the conference room of Guangdong CC&TSPM, the course was attended by 30 persons, including members of the provincial CC&TSPM, office workers, and pastoral staff in the province, reported the provincial CC&TSPM.

Professional instructors from a local fire prevention propaganda and education center in Guangzhou were invited to give lectures on the importance of strengthening education on fire safety, the use of fire equipment, and the handling of common fire problems. To improve their ability to prevent fire by raising their awareness of fire safety, the training was aiming to teach attendees how to use fire-fighting equipment, put out initial fires, escape and self-rescue, resulting in protecting the safety of the church and personnel, and family property.

Due to the bad weather, the originally planned outdoor fire drill was temporarily canceled.
