On December 28, the Third Member Representatives' Conference of the China Charity Alliance (CCA) was held in Beijing. Qiu Zhonghui, chairman of the Amity Foundation, was re-elected as a vice president.
According to the Amity Foundation, the conference elected members of the third Board of Directors and Supervisory Board of the CCA. Zhang Chunsheng was elected as president, Qiu Zhonghui and 20 others were elected as vice presidents, while Feng Yaping was appointed as both the secretary-general and legal representative.
Qiu stated that, as a member organization of the CCA, the Amity Foundation would continue to participate in diverse initiatives of the CCA, particularly in contributing to the six major projects of the CCA.
The following day, at the 11th China Charity Annual Conference, Qiu attended the event as an invited speaker and delivered a TED-style talk. Focusing on the theme of "Jointly Protecting the Elderly and Children," he shared insights on the Amity Foundation's public welfare projects, including elderly care services, orphan support, and the Starry Sky Dreamer project.
