On the occasion of the 11th National Chinese Christian Conference from December 20–21, 2023, the Fourth Christian Representative Conference of Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, elected a new leadership team for the county’s CC&TSPM.
According to CCC&TSPM, the meeting commenced in Mengdong Town from December 21 to 22, 2023, with the participation of 40 representatives from the county.
The presenting representatives heard, reviewed, and approved the "Work Report of the Third Standing Committee of the Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County CC&TSPM"; discussed and adopted the "Charter of the Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County’s Three-Self Patriotic Movement Committee" and the "Charter of the Christian Council of Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County." Rev. Tian Jiangwang was elected chairman and president of the county's CC&TSPM during the meeting, while Rev. Bao Guangqiang and the other reverends were elected vice presidents and vice chairman, and Rev. Li Huanxin was named general secretary.
